Project Works:

  • Online Oil Analysis (Profi project): The main purpose of this package was to capture oil images of machineries in steel industry and to analyze them then checking number of particles inside the oil to determine if the oil needs to be changed. This project was developed based on Blackfin Board running on Linux kernel. C and C++ were the main languages in developing the systems. Machine Vision Lab of Kemi-Tornion University of Applied Science, Finland, June 2007.
  • “Intelligent Tutoring System” Project: this system learnt student profiles then it could give hints or suggestions to help students in studying or resolving problems (Object Oriented Programming in C++ was used as a demonstration). The project has used Bayesian Network technology for reasoning and Java was the main language to build the system. Information Technology department, Cantho University, VietNam.
  • Top-K searching by using Hierarchical Clustering Algorithm research project at Computer Science Information Management department of Asian Institute of technology, Bangkok, Thailand, 2003.
  • Data-Driven Agent-Based Simulation of Commercial Barter Trade: Building probabilistic models to learn historical data from a particular barter. The models could predict buyers and sellers’ behavior then matching them together in the best way so that it could increase trade volume of the barter. Computer Science Information Management department of Asian Institute of technology, Bangkok, Thailand, 2003.
  • Master thesis: Increasing User Flexibility in Choosing and Creating Channels on Public Portals. The Jetspeed portal was used as platform for the research. The research applied some personalization techniques to utilize the portal such as user feedback, collaborative recommendation, and customization. Java was the main language for building the system. Computer Science Information Management department of Asian Institute of technology, Bangkok, Thailand, 2002.
