Our up-to-date color research laboratory is located at the Joensuu Science Park. The laboratory is equipped with modern devices for accurate color measurements and analysis. Color measurement devices include spectral camera based imaging system, spectrophotometers, fluorometer, chromameter, spectroradiometers, digital camera, UV-lamphouse, etc. The laboratory also includes several color standards and references.
The main research goal of the color research group is to promote progress in the use of spectral color signals in accurate color measurements, spectral data analysis, image analysis and compression, and in novel methods for spectral imaging.
