There is one search phrase that repeatedly brings users to my blog. It is “Things to do in Joensuu”, as I would write anything about things to do here. Anyway, at the moment google returns a link to this blog on the second place in the results (of course there is an explanation to this, much more prosaic).

It made me actually think what you would say to visitors, potential students, or job seekers, about how you can spend your time in Joensuu. From the search phrase it is not clear whether they are interested in how to spend their free time, or are they exploring the possibilities of this place in general. Moreover, to answer accurately one would need to know better who is asking.

In any case, I like to think more actively about the things to do in Joensuu:

unlike many other places, Joensuu is a place where one still can, and actively has to, come up himself with things to do.
