Jaana Keränen
I am a computer scientist, year model 1976. I have graduated from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Joensuu and I am a qualified teacher. I have studied my major (computer science) 80 credits. As my minors I have studied Teacher's Pedagogical Studies (35 credits), Subject Studies in Management (38 credits), Computer Aided Learning approbatur (15 credits) and Basic Studies in Futurology (15 credits).
The reason I changed from general CS to teaching must have been because of
my love to learn new things as well as my love for schools as well. I have always felt comfortable in a school
environment and in a learning context. For these reasons and some others I am qualifying (at the University of Joensuu, studies) to become a special education teacher. Supporting different kind of learners is important!
