It’s bloglife!

I have been always interested in all kind of new media. Thus, finally I decided to set up yet another blog to Internet. But why just now..?

Well, I have just created a totally new life here in New Zealand with my girlfriend. So I thought that it would be a perfect time to start blogging beside all new habits we have to learn, like driving on the left side of the road. We arrived here at the beginning of December 2005, and our aim is to stay here until mid-November 2006.

So far, after all practical arrangements, we have had a real holiday. But we have also some serious aims here in NZ, and one of those is research. I will work here for my PhD, together with Prof Kinshuk’s research group at Massey University, Palmerston North. Also, my main supervisor Erkki Sutinen will be here until May 2006. Finally I will have plenty of time to discuss with Erkki… Or at least I hope so. I will write to this blog every now and then my opinions and thoughts about New Zealand and our life here. Also, I would like to write something about my research (which has, by the way, a draft name Concretizations of Empirical Modelling).
