After playing with Quartz Composer, I have come with a simple Flickr screensaver. It is just a modified version of the Slideshow template, but in this case getting the images from a Flickr tag rss feed. You can download it now or read the implementation details after the jump.

To install it, you need a Mac computer, and you need to save the file to Library/Screen Savers/ folder. Then select it from System Preferences and set the options, e.g., flickr feed URL.

After some complaints about the lack of activity here, when I was to start writing a multi-lingual multi-post, it ocurred that I have to update the blog software…uhm, I swear I did that last time I wrote here, not a good progress indicator.

Anyway, as a first part of the multi-lingual multi-post, I reproduce here the interview an old friend of mine made via e-mail for a german magazine. This friend was a Länsikatu neighbour in the good old days. Problem is he speaks Spanish and carried out the interview in Spanish, how convenient, right? But no worries, this is a multi-lingual multi-post.

I want to see you all tonight at Teatteri Klubi at the secondInto party. This time we have worked hard to bring you the best dj in town, according to myself, dj Key-lo! He is organizing the award winning propleema party every now and then, and dj’ing all around Finland. But what’s more important, he grooves :) with the best funky music you can listen to.
