ITiCSE is close to be over. The workig group I have been taking part on is finishing the report “Merging Interactive Visualizations with Hypertextbooks and Course Management”. We have tried to come with the best ideas to achieve the merger. They may not look a very coherent group of ideas at the moment, but for sure they will help others (even me) when they start to implement this VizCoSH (Visualization-based Computer Science Hypertextbook) thingy.

On side note, while here we became aware of the work by Bruce-Lockhart and Norvell, who have developed a program animation tool and integrated it in a hypertextbook. Luckiy, they are going to be present at PVW tomorrow. It looks like something to follow.

As a side note for those teaching Python and reviewing assesments in the close future: Study Pack, a complete teaching set for Python and Java (non-free for students :S)), and AGAR2, a system to automatize the processing of assignments.
