Last Modification ................................................. 06.11.2000 MPASim - AN EXPERIMENTAL VLIW PROCESSOR SIMULATOR The Minimal Pipeline Architecture (MPA) is an experimental VLIW architecture being developed at University of Joensuu. MPASim is a simulator program for MPA processors. MPASim provides tools for executing and debugging MPA programs as well as tools for collecting statistical information on program execution. It provides also an utility for translating and parallelizing DLX programs to MPA programs. (DLX is Hennessy's and Patterson's experimental RISC architecture). MPASim runs in Macintosh environment and requires MacOS 7.1 or newer and 4 MB free memory. MPASim.sea.hqx is BinHex version of self-extracting Stuffit Lite document that contains MPASim folder. Installation: 1. Move MPASim.sea.hqx file to a Macintosh 2. Translate BinHex document to Stuffit Lite document by BinHex selecting Download->Application item in File Menu 3.
