Evaluation: This software is simple to install and learn to use. After installing and starting the program you can choose if you want to learn countries or their capitals. There are two different modes for countries and two for capitals. You can also choose do you want to use timer or not. For countries there are very easy mode, where you can see the outlines of countries, so all you need to do is to drag and drop the country to the right place. Much more challenging and educating is the mode without outlines of countries, there you really need to do some thinking about where to drop the country. Anyway it was hard for me to locate all those “new” countries like Makedonia and Serbia. So there will be challenge enough for kids with this mode. This all is about the same with capitals. In “capitals with hints” mode you see the country where the capital belongs so all you have to do again is to drag and drop the capital to the right country. And again much more challenging is the mode where you don’t get any hints about the country, so you really need to know where to drop the capital. This is more difficult than locating countries. I had never heard for example about Podgorica (the capital of  Montenegro) before.

For educational use I find this game really good. You can use simple modes to learn the countries and capitals and then harder modes to see what you have learnt. At least I learned some new countries and capitals by using it. The user interface is simple but not boring. You really don’t have to read any manuals to play this game, there aren’t any help, and its really not needed. Only problem with the user interface I found was that the game is too sensitive about the location of the country. You may think that you’ve put it in a right place, but the game doesn’t accept it. This can be annoying. The great thing about this game is that it is free. And there are also similar games for Africa, South America, Asia, Middle-East, USA, Canada, Central America, Australia and southern Asia and Continents! And they all are free.
