Binding for Master's thesis

All Master's thesis in Computer Science department will be binded into dark blue hard covers. This can be done only after the Thesis is officially accepted. The acceptation statement and examiners statement will be included. The student is reponsible for the binding by him/hemself. The detailed instructions are below.

There should be at least 3 bindings of the Thesis: Department will refund for the copy that goes to the library. The rest three and possible additional copies are funded by the student.

Color: The main color should be dark blue. The cover contains the title of the thesis and the back the name of the student and the year of completion. Among the available color shades, it is recommended to use the one with black texture and lamination surface. The exact speficiations, however, are only directive and the main point is that the outlook would look similar to the other Master's theses.

Marginals: Because of the binding, the left marginal of the pages should be 1 cm wider than the right marginal! For example, 3 cm to left and 2 cm to right are acceptable settings.

Starting pages: The first text page is Cover page, then Abstract and the acceptance statement by the Dean. Research notification is prepared separately and it is NOT included in the Thesis.

Binding: The actual binding can be done in any bindery. The principle is that the student take care of the process and pays the fees. Department can then refund to the student for the copies that department has obligated to pay (receipt is needed). Department refunds according to the lowest binding fees. Below is a list of few binderies that are known to have reasonable fees for the binding process:
