Submission Categories
Review Process and PublicationThe conference wishes to promote high level research in the field of computer science education. Therefore, submissions for the Research Paper category will be rigorously reviewed by at least three members of the international Program Committee. Submissions for the System Paper and Discussion Paper categories as well as Demo and Poster Abstracts will be reviewed by at least two members of the Program Committee. The Koli Calling Program Committee takes pride in reading the submissions carefully and providing constructive feedback. The authors of accepted submissions are expected to incorporate into the final version of their manuscript not only the comments and suggestions given by the reviewers but also those from the discussion at the conference. The accepted papers in all categories will be compiled into pre-proceedings available at the conference, and final versions of them will be included in the Proceedings of Koli Calling 2005 published in a TUCS Publication Series after the conference. The proceedings will be electronically available at the Koli Calling conference site and from the TUCS publication archive at www.tucs.fi. Moreover, the authors of the best Research Papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work to be re-reviewed for publication in Computer Science Education, the Routledge journal, as a Special Issue in Volume 16, Number 3, September 2006.
