Kolin Kolistelut - Koli Calling conference will be held in Koli, North Karelia and hosted by the University of Joensuu. Kolin Kolistelut - Koli Calling is primarly aimed for post-graduate or graduate students and researchers who are interested in the field of Computer Science education.
The main reason for arranging the conference is to attract interested scholars and educational technologists within the Universities in Finland to join their efforts to figure out the future prospects of the field. The conference will also be open for fellow participants from Baltic Sea and Nordic Countries. The goal of the conference is to develop the exchange of revelant information between colleagues working on the same discipline.
The program of the conference will consist of short presentations of submitted papers, open discussion sessions and social events. The Program Committee hopes that the Kolin Kolistelut - Koli Calling will be a relaxed and unformal event, so that the creative new ideas will emerge. The Commitee also believes that Kolin Kolistelut - Koli Calling will be a starting point for a deep collaboration between people who share the same interest in the field of Computer Science education.
