Andrés is back from this year's Koli Calling, where he has been demo-ing Jeliot 3 to the atendees. People as Raymond Lister, Sally Fincher and other got their first impressions on Jeliot 3. And they seemed to like it.

But it is not only that. Andrés had also the opportunity to meet people who has developed nice tools that can be used, or will be used, along Jeliot 3. Colin Johnson and one of his masterĀ“s students has developed a nice extension for BlueJ, which enables its users to check or find the roles of variables, it should be available soon. Thus, check the roles of variables first in your program and then visualize it from the very same place, BlueJ.

We also got in touch with the fine guys from Tampere University. They have developed Javala[fi] and VIP. Javala is an online competition to learn Java, currently in Finnish. We have planned to connect it to Jeliot 3, players will be able to visualize their programs in Jeliot 3 effortlessly. VIP is a similar program animation tool but used to animate a subset of C++ language. We intend to use their interpreter as the basis for making Jeliot able to animate C++ code!!! Souds interesting? If you think so, you can contact us to find out how to help us.
