Who can apply
International UniversitiesAnybody satisfying the admission requirements can apply. At the moment the IMPIT programme is not restricted only to our partner universities. We have had students for example from China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tanzania, Kenya, Poland, Romania, India, Spain, Nepal and South Korea. Anybody can apply to IMPIT, but it is best to have at least some unofficial cooperation with our university. If your supervisor or dean has visited us, s/he can write you a letter of recommendation. It is even better, if you have yourself studied in Finland and know some of our professors or lecturers yourself. Our partner universitiesThe IMPIT programme has been originally founded for students from partner universities in Russia and Czech Republic, including St. Petersburg (SPB) Electrotechnical University,RU, Czech Technical University, Prague, CZ, Brno Technical University, CZ, SPB University of Fine Mechanics and Optics, RU, SPB State University, RU, SPB State Marine University, RU, SPB State Technical University, RU, SPB State University of Telecommunications, RU, Petrozavodsk State University, RU. At the moment, the programme is open to all students with university level education.
