Admission to IMPIT

News and updates:
- Call for application is now open (February 1, 2012 - March 16, 2012). Detailed instructions for the admission round 2012 are available here.
- IMPIT 2011 application cycle is now closed for 2011 (DL was 31.3.2011). The selection process has been finalized, and all applicants have been informed. Please note, that only hard copy applications are considered complete.
- IMPIT selections 2010 are now public (2.6.2010). Notifications will soon be mailed using email and surface post.
- IMPIT 2010 selections will be announced here in few days from now (12.5.2010), and applicants will be notified by post and email.
General Admission Requirements
The admission processes in the international masters degree programme in information technology aim at fair selection of high-quality applicants. The general minimal admission requirements are following:
- B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- high English language profficiency proved by a generally recognized test (see exact limits in the admission 2012 - 2014 page). The test results need to be mailed to the University Admissions Finland (UAF) by the test organizers. A paper copy sent by the applicant is accepted for IELTS test report. The TOEFL code for UAF is 3138.
- motivation and ability to study in competitive and demanding environment in a foreign country
