ECSE organises two important events for PhD students during the summer 2012: Annual ECSE Summer School and Scientific Writing -course 2012. The dates and lecturers of the both events have now been decided.

1. ECSE Summer School, June 18-21, 2012.

The two courses offered in the Summer School are:

"Recent Advances in Probabilistic Modeling for Pattern Recognition"
by Dr. Patrick Kenny, Lead researcher, CRIM, Montreal, Canada.

"Social Computing"
by Dr. Rosta Farzan, Postdoc researcher, Human Computer Interaction Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, USA.

2. Scientific Writing -course 2012, August 6-8. 2012.

The lecturer of the Scientific Writing course is Dr. Jean-Luc LeBrun
